The BrachyNext co-chairmen Janusz Skowronek, MD, PhD, and Tim R. Williams, MD, and our Organizing Committee are pleased to announce that abstracts are being accepted for a poster presentation during the symposium.

Abstracts can be submitted by visiting http://brachynext2014.exordo.com.

The submission deadline is March 21, 2014. The number of poster positions is limited. The Abstract Review Committee will therefore assess all abstracts to identify those that support the objectives of the symposium and advance the future of brachytherapy. Authors will be notified by April 21, 2014 if their abstract has been accepted for poster presentation at the symposium.

This symposium will present the most up-to-date information on brachytherapy. It will focus on new advancements and implementation of state-of-the-art brachytherapy, and jointly identify next steps to advance its clinical relevance. It is designed for radiation oncologists, physicists, urologists, dermatologists, breast surgeons, gynecologists, and administrators who use brachytherapy.

Abstracts are being accepted in most categories of brachytherapy including, but not limited to:

Abstracts that are accepted for poster display at this symposium will be published in a supplement to the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy. If your abstract is accepted by the committee, you will be required to complete a copyright release to include your abstract in the journal supplement.

The submitting author will be asked to designate a presenting author who will be attending the symposium and will be responsible for hanging and removing their poster at the designated times. The submitting author will also be asked to designate a corresponding author that will appear in the published abstract.

Attendees for the conference must register at www.cancereducation.com/brachynext/. Submitting an abstract for presentation does not constitute registration for the conference.

We thank you in advance for your submission and look forward to an exciting conference.
